In this post, we'll look at how to use the V380 App without a Wi-Fi connection. It's a handy feature for those times when you're away from an internet connection.

With the latest updates to the app, some might find it a bit tricky. That’s where this guide comes in. We’ll help you connect your V380 camera to your phone using what's called Ap Mode.

Here's how to get started:

1, Make sure your camera is turned on and ready to connect.
2, On your phone, go to your Wi-Fi settings and look for a signal that starts with 'MV' or 'HSC', followed by a series of numbers.
3, Connect your phone to this network first.

Once connected:
4, Open the V380 App and tap 'Add a Camera'.
5, Choose to automatically find devices near you.
6, The camera should show up in the app.
7, When you see your camera in the app, make sure to set a strong password for it. You’ll then choose Ap Mode for a direct connection, giving you control over the camera even when there's no Wi-Fi.

You can switch between Ap Mode and Wi-Fi mode whenever you like. The app also lets you turn on an alarm or insert a micro SD card to save videos.

Just a heads-up: when you're using Ap Mode, the camera and phone need to be close enough to each other to maintain the connection. If you go too far, they'll disconnect, but your camera will keep recording.
